When you call us to book an appointment, or submit a request or contact us through this site, we collect your name, phone number, email address, and any details you choose to share about your requested service. We do not collect payment information through this website.

How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to respond to your inquiry, confirm or schedule appointments, and communicate with you about our services. We do not use it for any other purpose.

Text Messaging
How We Obtain Consent
Most clients book by calling us at (562) 291-1391. During the call, our front desk asks for your permission to send appointment confirmations and reminders by text to the number you provide, and informs you that you may reply STOP at any time. We record this consent with your booking. We also obtain consent when you submit a request through this website. We do not send text messages to any number that has not given us permission.

If you provide your mobile number, you may receive text messages from us regarding appointment confirmations, reminders, and occasional service updates. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for assistance.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information only with service providers who help us operate this website or send messages on our behalf, and only to the extent necessary to perform those services.

Data Retention

Our Services
In Step Massage provides therapeutic massage services at 9237 Lakewood Blvd, Downey, CA 90240. Our services are intended for relaxation and general wellness. They are not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have a health condition, please consult your physician before receiving massage.

Appointment Requests
Requests submitted through this website are requests only, not confirmed bookings. An appointment is confirmed only after we contact you by phone or text. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule any request.

Same-Day Appointments
Same-day requests are logged in order of arrival and do not reserve a specific room or therapist. Availability at your requested time cannot be guaranteed. Advance appointments confirmed by text or phone will be held; if you do not confirm, the time is not reserved.

Pricing and Promotions
Prices listed on this site are subject to change without notice. Promotional discounts are limited-time offers, cannot be combined with other promotions unless stated, and may be withdrawn at any time. Prices at the time of service apply.

Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. They may be used toward any service at their stated value. Lost or stolen certificates cannot be replaced.

Payment
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash and major credit and debit cards, and Zelle. Deposits and prepayments may also be made by Zelle.

Cancellations and Late Arrivals
Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or if you are running late. If you arrive late without notice, your session may be shortened or canceled at our discretion so that we can stay on schedule for other clients.

No-Shows and Repeat Cancellations
Appointment requests are confirmed by phone or text. If we are unable to reach you, or if you do not confirm, your requested time may be released to another client. Clients who repeatedly fail to appear without notice may be asked to prepay or may be declined future appointments.

Deposits

For certain appointments — including clients with a history of missed appointments, peak-time bookings, or large group bookings — we may require a $5 deposit to hold the reserved time. The deposit is applied in full toward the cost of your service. Your appointment time is held once the deposit is received.

If you cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment, the deposit carries over to your next appointment or can be refunded on request. For same-day appointments, this notice period is 2 hours. If you do not show up, or cancel with less notice than this, the deposit is not refunded.

Deposits are requested by text message to the number you provided when booking, and are paid by Zelle to payments@instepmassage.com. We never ask for card numbers by text message or email.

Client Conduct
We provide professional therapeutic massage only. Any request for or suggestion of inappropriate conduct will result in immediate termination of the session, full payment being due, and refusal of future service. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
